How to choose neon sign size and placement
Choose the location before choosing the sign size. Measure the usable width and height, mark the proposed outline on the wall or backdrop, and view it from the places where people will stand or take photos.

Measure the usable display area
Record the width and height available after allowing for shelves, furniture, flowers or other decorations. Use the same unit for the space and the proposed sign. The sign dimensions should include the backing, not only the glowing letters.
For example, an 80 cm sign centered in a 120 cm clear wall section leaves 20 cm on either side. That checks the width only; you still need to confirm the height, backing shape and cable exit.
Check readability from the viewing position
Place a paper or tape outline at the intended height. Check it from the entrance, seating area and camera position. Longer wording and decorative script need enough space to keep individual letters distinct.
A reception logo viewed nearby and a sign across a venue have different needs. Share a placement photo, the measured wall area and the intended viewing position when requesting design advice.
Coordinate the glow with the room
Compare the proposed neon color with the wall color and existing lighting. Check whether the sign will be used in daylight, in a dark room or during photography. Ask to review the available brightness controls for the selected build.
A screen preview helps compare layouts and colors. The finished appearance also depends on the room, camera exposure and surrounding light, so confirm important color requirements before ordering.
Plan mounting and access to power
Identify the wall material or approved hanging points and the route to a suitable power outlet. Confirm the backing dimensions and mounting option with the sign details. For a venue or rented space, ask which installation methods are permitted.
Keep cable routing clear of walkways. If the display will be exposed to rain or moisture, describe the location before choosing the build; an indoor configuration should not be assumed suitable outdoors.
Send a complete design brief
Include the wording or artwork, usable width and height, a placement photo, color preference and intended installation method. For an opening or event, include the date and destination so current production and delivery timing can be confirmed with the quote.
